Product Engineer: Accessibility, AI Workflows, and Front-End Systems

Hello, I'm Daniel Arcé.

I build accessible, high-trust software systems.

I'm a product engineer with 14+ years of experience building accessible, scalable user-facing software for consumer platforms, media companies, and startups. My background is in front-end architecture and accessibility — and my current work sits at the intersection of AI-assisted workflows, product systems, and trust-sensitive user experience.

I've led accessibility programs that reduced business risk at scale, built reusable front-end systems in React and TypeScript, and partnered closely with product, design, and compliance teams to ship software that is both usable and defensible.

More recently, I've been building AltContext.com, a product focused on AI-assisted accessibility workflows for media systems. That work has pushed me further into product architecture, backend services, data workflows, and the practical realities of shipping AI in user-facing software.

What I bring:

  • Accessibility and compliance strategy grounded in real product delivery
  • Product-minded front-end architecture in React and TypeScript
  • Cross-functional execution across design, product, engineering, and compliance
  • AI-assisted workflow design for user-facing software
  • Clear written thinking on systems, constraints, and user trust

I'm most interested in roles and collaborations involving accessibility, AI workflows, design systems, content and media tooling, and high-trust product environments.
